American Child (1) Poem by Poetical Analysis

American Child (1)

Bow in allegiance to all things great
Work diligently & never question State

Your water will burn your babies' skin
Your air will breed cancer from within

The American General & Clery watch
Each a bulging, blood soaked crotch

The ain't nobody coming, no where to run
American Child, what have you done

Brutally drugged by Medical Men
With no concern you're within

This home holds hostages, held by grief
You're condemned, American Child, to know no peace

Die in a battle to makes 'US' proud
To pretend, as if, you made it out

Young deaths keep our Nation strong
Youth are shot like dimes, all day long

We couldn't protect you if we tried
You're just unlucky we survived

American Child, we're feeding you death
Driving around on you last breaths

This is a machine set in mode
Unaffected by this or that vote

American Child, gods have stolen your place
Your parents have never even seen your face

I pray to you! Oh, blessed child,
Forgive me, a wretch, evil, & vile

I too could only watch
And proudly show my unbloodied crotch

We use your mothers like butchered meat
Too convinced to just let it be

American Child, you'll live in legend, if all else fails
And in your parents' unexpressed wales
