Amelia Poem by Jong Canlas

Amelia

Rating: 5.0

Her eyes twinkle
As she watches in wonder
My feeble attempts
To follow her steps

Her soft voice would utter
You can do better
With gladness in my chest
I would try even harder

Her fragile hand would tap
The corner of the game pad
A signal that I had to start
To play expertly her chosen part

It was an unexpected night
I chance to meet up
This innocent girl
Who charmed me with her twirl

How I remember
Her cute little face
Who would light up at once
On funny little pranks

I will never forget
The night I bond with her
So much in there I learned a lot
While I carry in my heart

Her image of innocent joy
And ministry of pure hope
She made me realize
On that single night

I did a great job

it's beautiful yet you have to edit some grammar mistakes like 'As she watch in wonder' you have to say 'watches' other than that, I really love your poem, the words flow very nicely
