Patience is what kept me going
Ambition is what made me succeed
Time is what kept my dreams held high
I was all that I needed.
Inner beauty is what I saw in the mirror
Energy is what kept a big smile on my face
No one could make me feel small
Because I always had my head up tall.
Courage is what I am trying to show to you
Everything I say and do shows that I have pride
And patience that’s how I plan to live my life.
