Am I Rejecting God? Poem by john raymond

You ask God how do I serve
He asks: Who do I trust
Trust in Me the Lord your God
I pray these words over & over
Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Then I get a note that says it's from God?
Saying your lunch mate is not for you!
You cannot change her pain accept it!
People only see your disables
So they can see Me and not you!
Don't give up I love you
All I could think: is this true?
so the next day I go to lunch
With the woman the note spoke of
i enjoy the time we have speaking of God
I feel Guilty like I disobeyed God!
Will God ever answer or listen to me?
In prayer i try to listen to the Spirit
FORGET the note make your own choose!
Are the words in my mind with peace: Yes!
So I help a friend move with a free dinner
Ending up at the movies dancing playing pool
With the woman the same woman of the note
I thank God for such a wonderful day of overflow
Yet I wonder should I repent or thank God
I know not what God wants for me?
Yet again we sit for church & lunch together
Then I go to see her business meeting
To tell her more then i would like to
I go to pray to serve God as a blessing to all
For there was Susan to serve God as well
we give flowers out with a smile to have dinner
All I can say thank you God for answered prayer
I felt guilty to miss prayer at the request of a Voice
To a coffeehouse with friends I got her a drink
We walk under the stars as I give her my jacket
God answers even the words that came my mouth
The next day she calls me up and pays for dinner
We watch a fight at a bar that ended way too soon
Again at church we do lunch talking about God's word
I thank my God Jesus for this over flow week
If I had listened to the note I would not be blessed!
I pray to God this overflow dose not end!
