Always Be Mine Poem by David Harris

She put her hand in mine,
kissed me gently on the lips,
told me she loved me
and would always be mine.

That was many years ago
and the sun still shines in our lives.
Oh, we’ve had our troubles,
but she is always there.

The future might look rosy,
whether or not it will be,
but the love within our eyes
is there for all to see.

As we stroll together
towards our destiny
beyond the setting sun,
our love for one another
can be seen by everyone.
