Along The Blue Nile Poem by Valentin Gabriel Cristea

Along The Blue Nile

Rating: 5.0

Purple sleep quivers on banks
the blue of crystal bends lightly
lonely birds float on reed
shadows slide in the sombre ecstasy.

The deep azure flows in the distance
the sea waves to the coming of the Nile
haughty pyramid listen silently
to the brown rustling of the night.

Hazy dream of the monotonous life
huddles on the mirror of the river
tears of fire die gently out
secret breathing lights astral shivers.
