Alone
Alone,
I try to speak through my words,
Alone,
I try to reach through the hurt,
And find inside me the light shining brightly,
try to shut out the pain, but that's highly unlikely,
Alone,
In a nightmare that I find impossible to escape,
for I am already awake and these thoughts won't erase,
Won't go away, ALL I KNOW? be brave.
Live my life, it isn't perfect, but who knows one day.
