Alone Poem by Shane Cannon

Verse 1:
Do you know what it is like to feel alone
Be the only one left in the cold
Feelings overwhelm, my emotions they grow, I can’t contain it no more.

Chorus:
I feel alone even with people round me
Do you know how much pain this causes me, you could be there no matter how I try to explain that, I will still feel….. Alone

Verse 2:
As I sit here listening to the wind blow through the trees and my dreams start to flow, I sit there thinking of the comfort I felt but then it was stripped away by something else.

Chorus:

Verse 3:
Later on I begin to realise that the friends I have feel distant to the extent inside, I lose the will of life but then come to realise that all will be well in time.
