Almighty Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Our God is an artist who created the planets, stars, moon and sun
His perfect hands molds its creation in the amazing way he can
He infused life to the mud and dust he found on the ground or earth
Thus the creation of the first man and woman as humanity's birth
He included the animals, trees and plants to his work of art
While he scattered his creation in every corners and part
That includes the sea, mountain, dessert and rice field
The weather like summer, fall, spring and winter to yield
He created the good to be the positive force in our elements
So that mankind could appreciate the good in all its achievements
He also created the evil to be the negative opposite of the elements
As the force that negates the sovereign good in all its accomplishments
For both good and evil had undeniably changed our very own perspective
Resulting to our own advancement and improvement from being competitive
For to claim that evil is not a creation of God is out of the context of faith
For love and compassion could never be understood without anger or hate
God created both the light and the darkness representing the good or evil
He is present in every aspect of events of our life mostly in every level
That could be the shaking of the ground or the giving birth of your wife
Our God made us complete through the failures and success in our life
God made our lives therefore he also created death as a form of cycle
For in the absence of death we would never understand a true miracle
Like the miracle of birth through the parents perception and own view
To experience life over and over again would always be something new
God would always allow wickedness to undo the harmony of the good
For it is only in this way that the good could perform that way it should
A system or a belief that is already rotting requires change
Like life itself that eventually dies the result will be renewal and rejuvenation
A constant demand for change in our ecosystem to maintain such limitation
He also created each one to be different and unique in its own way
And there's obviously nothing wrong with being a lesbian or gay
For people are not judged according to their own sexual preference
And we don't need the Holy Bible for our conclusion and reference
For God had also created the Government to protect and uphold the Law
And morality is only a system of guidelines when our judgement is raw
God gave mankind the freedom of its own will and expression
And to deny one's self of its true feelings is a form of repression
Even a thief or a liar could still change if given a chance
A chance to be better as a person of interest even for once
Our God even created lust which I believe is never wrong
The lust between our parents had brought us here all along
Yes, smoking and drinking are considerably bad to our own health
But it is through these diseases that Doctors, Nurses and Hospitals made wealth
Nurses, Doctors and Hospital Workers were able to feed or support their family
For there are stubborn people who won't quit smoking and drinking abruptly
Now we all know drugs is wrong for the children in any angle of perception
But just in my own experience let us draw the line and make a connection
For most young people who uses drugs are from a neglected family
Trying to find a soul to connect to for not having any attention completely
Most of these children are lost because there are no guidance at all
Their parents are mostly busy and away so the children are at fall
Trying to find the missing piece in the false promises of momentary cure
Just to numb the pain caused by loneliness which they have to endure
The Drug addiction is now added to the contributor to the society
Destroying ambitions and also a source of income in the community
A source of income for the Rehab centers, Policemen and Agents
By means of arresting, rehabilitating and convicting those who are guilty
There is nothing too personal about it for you are just serving your duty
So the evil of smoking, drinking and drugs had upset the balance of the society
Even though somehow it had brought in some contribution to the community
Crimes and wrongdoings had almost done the same in comparison
By employing Guards, Policemen. Lawyers and Judges as a reason
All of those things I have mentioned are still God's very own creation
For the contrast of the Good and Evil had brought gain in every situation
Just imagine a society where it is crime, drugs and sickness free
Where a Police Station, Hospital and Jail is something you can't see
Some professions would just fade and disappear over the night
If there were no diseases and everything was almost quite right
For evil or wickedness made us appreciate and call upon God
In every disaster and tragedy where there is presence of blood
For in every evil that will occur the good will make its chase
Thus giving the good a sense of purpose in searching for its place
The evil brought by smoking, drinking and drugs would only go away
If parents were responsible enough to give time and decide to stay
Diabetes or Hypertension are also diseases caused by too much sugar and fat
But we single out the cigarette and alcohol from becoming a major spat
What's the difference between a man who smokes and drink for fun
From a woman who deliberately eat a pint of ice cream from a can
If we consider smoking and drinking to be wrong for the diseases it had brought
We should do the same for eating sugar and fat for all those who will be caught
But mankind's judgement of circumstances was always been limited
By watching each others mistakes and by being completely separated
For God made life complete by introducing evil as a part of the package
And it is only through these means that men will seek for knowledge
The knowledge in finding solutions to all the problems at hand
When evil had tried to take us down with an execution so grand
The creation of bombs and weapons that kill made us all wonder
Of the war between men and the deaths we carry upon our shoulder
Is there even an end to all these killings of our very own kind
I do hope so but the answer could only be found in our mind
For we might be divided by race, ideology and creed
We are still created by a God who gave us what we need
Judaism, Christianity and Islam are still his own product
Religions to choose from in practicing our spiritual conduct
Our God the Almighty created everything known to us all
Every color, shape and person no matter how big or small
If we get robbed or burglarized then maybe we just forgot to be generous
To our less fortunate brothers and sisters who's needs are much enormous
For life is never perfect without the trials and obstacles
Life was never only meant to be a grandeur of spectacles
We will all learn the emotion that our feelings could possibly share
And through the expression of evil we will learn to value and care
We will all come together in the presence of great evil and disaster
For it is the will of the one who created us who is also our master
