Alligators Tears Poem by Stephen Pennell

Alligators Tears

An artists colour palette floats on the wind.
Gracefully flaps its butterfly wings
To gather the Alligators tears
To drink of the sorrow they have seen
But please don't weep for those tears,
For they will bring the painted angels of future summers
Only possible because of alligators tears today

A shared tear is worth more, and brings to the world hope afresh.
