The founder of the Krishna Movement
His arrival at San Francisco International Airport,
He went on to receive him
With the hippies waiting for
With flowers into their hands and the chants of Krishna.

Who the hippies,
The members of the counterculture
Of the 1960s,
Of the youth movement,
The beatniks
With the fairs and festivals
And villas of their own
And the community lost in
Psychedelic music and nomadic free life
So full of song, dance, romance and love
Incorporating cultural diversity?
