i know how it feels
to be strung out...
heroin and i
were lovers
many years ago...
and dependence left
a bad taste in my mouth...
it just aint worth it!
it's a waste of time,
a dead end road...
it's not the answer.
no matter how hard,
how hopeless, how lonesome
it gets...
life's still the best
thing going...
it's all we have!
live it!
