Well its been 12 years,
can't hold back my tears,
cant forget about,
the day you were gone.

You used to say,
that one day,
the lord will lead me to the right direction,
to always give others your love and affection,
and if it was meant to be,
it shall be your destiny.

But now you're in god's hands,
and I've tried to stand like a man,
I can't help but miss,
all the moments we used to share.

And you always say,
good spirits surround me,
you'll always be watching over me,
its safe to say the lord is on my side.

But you're in god's hands,
and I've tried to stand like a man,

And so I made this promise,
that I'll stand my ground,
and I'll make you proud,
for you have taught me the value of life.

You're now in god's hands,
I will try to stand like a man,
