Life seems to be full of improving,

when does it end?

No longer behoving?



The yard is great

the living room better

pants are hemmed

buttons on sweater



Now that all seems comfortable and right,

do you have that elusive feeling of delight?



Now you sit like queens in their castles

perfectly clean, all orderly, no hassles



Now what, spend a little more money?

Haven't quite arrived at the milk and honey?



When does it end, this seeking, not finding?

All is perfectly sad, something is blinding



What does it take to feel you've arrived?

Does it come from the out or the in side?
