All In Our Mind Poem by David Harris

It is funny how sometimes
you will think of someone
you haven’t seen for a while
and then the next thing you know,
you will run into them.

Your thinking of a song
you heard many years ago,
then you turn on the radio
and that song you thought of
is playing once again.

You live on a crowded street
and parking is a problem.
You think to yourself
I wish I could park
outside my house, and then find you can.

Are all these things
just in our mind
or is there something more
happening we cannot explain.
Especially when it happens repeatedly.
