All I Wanted Poem by Makayla Straight

All I Wanted

Rating: 5.0

Screaming, Crying, Bleeding love
Thats all I been doing for you
All I wanted was love
Damn I wore it on my sleeve
Wanting you to come and grab it
Claim it as yours
Forever and ever
Instead you only threw it upon the floor
The very floor that everybody in the whole world steps on
They step on my heart
Crush it into pieces
Crush my belief in you
All I wanted was love
Love from you
But I could not get that
Love- something so simple
But in reality its not so simple

It seems Newtons 3rd law applies also to love. Beautiful telling, makes it like a tradgedy.

Maybe it's just the mood I'm in but that reminds me of Yeats and I hear you both, I hear you. I thank you.10
