All I see is the sky
A sky filled with one star brighter then another
and yet I cannot see the North Star
I try to turn my head but nothing happens
I'm sending signals like a small child send bullets with his AK
and yet I cannot see the North Star

And when I open my mouth to speak
To yell; to ask for help; to ask why me
Nothing comes out
My mind is telling me my mouth is open
My mind is telling me I'm yelling
But still nothing comes out

I try to hear what is going on
but Just like a broken antenna I'm not getting a signal. I can't hear anyone
The only thing I can hear are droplets but they were amplified
As if I was alone and on my own

And there was a stream that flowed past my ear
The stream sounded like the sound of a beautiful song written and performed by Apollo himself
And the droplets falling on it like, Tomahawk missiles landing in my back yard
And a splash so loud it was capable of destroying a building
And a sound that is was able to silence all the noises around me, but my own

But the beautiful silence goes away and it is overcome by a musical track repeating the same tune
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
But there is something wrong because this tune is not the same
It's faster, harder, stronger, and strange
It sounds like the same tune when I kissed my only love
But something is different about it
It sounds like the same tune when I scored the winning goal
But something is different about it

I try to focus but the tune I hear is too loud
It's louder than a gun shots or crying or yelling of the night
So loud that it pounds on my ear
But like after a bullet whizzing past my ear everything goes quite
So the only sound that was there, was my heart
And slowly and slowly the tune continues to wind down
Boom! ... Boom! ... Boom!

As the tune disappears in the white noise of all the chaos
I feel a moment of clarity
realizing that my time has ran out and my song is about to end
only one thing comes to mind
one thing that matters beyond anything else
is..........
