All Alone Poem by Phil Soar

All Alone

Rating: 4.5

When I'm alone I'm free to talk
There's no-one there to listen
When I'm alone, I stare at stars
I'm amazed just how they glisten
When I'm alone, that majesty
That is the earth and sky
Is with me every breath I take
And doesn't ask me.... why?

Why can I be so all alone
With no-one there to see
The loneliness that Hovers there
And stalls, right over me
I talk to myself aimlessly
There's never a reply
And yet it never bothers me
Unless I wonder......why?
