Alive Poem by cassy carmody

Alive

So fact and such a suprise
I swear my life flashed before my eyes
The crash, the sounds, such terrible things
I guess you never know what fate may bring
In a matter of seconds my life took a sharp turn
I could hear God saying, 'let her life be adjourned'
We reached the hospital where i would be revived
All I couold think was will I live or die
I could not see i could not breathe
My life was held upon a machine
So everyday you give and take
Remember you dont control your fate
