Alcoholism Poem by Ricky Randall

Alcoholism

Don't take it out on the dog
You brought this on yourself, old man
Kin suffers through your drunken ire
As you grab another Heineken
Brain cells go
Feeling so low
As you wish to feel alive again
It's a shame to say
That this here way
Is the common outcome of contrite men
