Albert Einstein 31- Dr. Einstein In Salzburg Poem by Geeta Radhakrishna Menon

Albert Einstein 31- Dr. Einstein In Salzburg

Rating: 5.0

Life has its own peculiarities,
Takes man through roller coaster rides!
There are times, when you keep waiting, waiting,
For things to happen the way you want or desire!
But nothing happens!
You just keep staring in the dark!
Sometimes, unexpectedly, a ray of light appears
Followed by hundred more brilliant rays of hope and light!

The moment, Dr. Albert Einstein stepped
Into the corridors of University of Zurich,
As a ‘Professor Extraordinaire' for Physics,
Invitations began to pour in from different places.
Besides, his research articles that were published
During his year of Miracles in 1905, took little time,
For eminent scientists to notice, assimilate, discuss,
And recognise his work, as major contributions in Physics.

Dr. Einstein was invited to Salzburg, Austria,
The scientists who attended his lecture in Salzburg,
For the first time, saw this young brilliant physicist.
It was a turning point in Dr.Albert Einstein's life.
He too, was able to see both his admirers and critics.
The lecture in Salzburg was a tremendous success
It opened up plenty of new opportunities for Einstein,
And a whole new theoretical Physics for the scientists.

The dynamic Salzburg Lecture was followed
By many more lectures and teaching assignments.
Dr Einstein's innovative ideas, concepts on new physics
Gained popularity, began to grow and spread
Throughout the scientific communities in Europe!
Many Institutions in different countries wondered
Whether they could have the privilege of
Dr Einstein as a part of their faculty!

There have been many scientists in this world
With brilliant and innovative contributions.
But even among them,
There are only a chosen few,
Who reached high to pluck the fruit of fame,
Who endeared himself to his scientist friends,
Who was adored by women of all class,
For his charismatic personality and charming eyes.

The Hindu quotes " Decades before India made a name for itself in the field of education, the tiny princely State of Travancore aimed high in higher education and even made an unsuccessful bid to enlist the services of great physicist Albert Einstein as Vice-Chancellorl
