Heart pounding blood
like streams gushing waters
to ever flowing rivers
tears drip dropping
like water spills

what was once a raging fire
has left acrid smell of smoke
that stinks unpleasantly,
your intrigued affair
has left a tatoo scare
invisible to the naked eye
yet clearly visible
to the broken sore heart

countless times mind
tried with failure in attempt
to forget and forfeit
the affection
of the heart over you
but seemingly though
the mind is playing
the loosing game,
now the only hope and cure
left is time to heal the
excruciating pain heartfelt
