Agaze Poem by Jon Payne

Agaze

I miss the sonorous living we once had.
Now we're just perpetuated shadows of
What we used to be, the best elements
Torn out of us and cast out into Space.

Spawn forth black depths before me;
Where I've been darkness' never know.
Crumble tall buildings around me,
Time will make the change slow.

Pay no mind to endeavor,
All change of pace stay not, go.
Temporary bids no permanent welcome,
Let propriety choose what flow.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The top four lines were originally seperate from the rest of the poem. I later added them because I felt as though they belonged there.
