Addie Claire Poem by Whitney Nicole Albright*

Addie Claire

Sunshine streams through her golden hair.
And like a star, she beams with the brightest flare.
Sweetness pours from her skin so fair,
My Addie Claire.

Like a rose, she flavors the evening air.
The birds all follow her to whistle and stare.
Isn't she like a diamond, rare?
My Addie Claire.

She's a blessing sent to us, I swear.
Her kisses are little treasures she's glad to share.
The angels chase her everywhere,
My Addie Claire.

Little doll, non other can compare.
My very heart on your sleeves, you wear.
All my love and all my care,
Made of dreams and many prayers,
My Addie Claire.
