Addict



Trapped
Within myself
Bound
By my own chains

Scream
To break loose
But they hold
Solid. unrelentless.

Just one
Is all I need
One more
And I'll be free

I need a fix
One breath
Inhale
Slowly

Gasping
Losing
Sober
too long

Outside
He's waiting
He says stop
I want more

Who says you need a drug
to be Addicted?
