Acted Love Poem by Frank Adie

Acted Love

Rating: 5.0

Don't tell me love
Show me love
When love is verbalized I hear it
When it is acted I feel it
You can't love me with words
And don't show me with deeds
Love is weightier when it is felt
It can be experienced without being spelt
Love is expressed by expression
But it is proved by action.
When action portrays it
It really doesn't matter if words don't say it.
Verbal love is abstract
Acted love is concrete.

Poetic quavering and tasty, Frank. Give me a good pudding or I hold my tongue... thank you.
