Aching Heart Poem by Ms. Queenie

Aching Heart

Rating: 4.5

Her heart
Sunken in
Used
Flattened like a grape
Dried like a raisin
Sucked of love
Cold and hard
painful
hurting
Beat like a stone
In firm ground
Underneath pounds of heavy weight and baggage
Dying of thirst
Sustenance?
There is no sustenance for a hungry heart
Only death, disappointment and shadows
Sadness
Blood-red
Aching heart
Degeneration from butterfly
Into nothing
nothing But dust

A sad poem, that makes the readers' heart ache in empathy. Quite moving and touchy!
