Abyss Poem by Gabriel Corvus

Abyss

my touch like empty love
your kiss like shattered dreams
beautiful in thought
ugly in action
your eyes the color of an
abyss
your heart like the bottom
of our sex cliff
our lovers leap
but you held onto the railing
and I
fell
fell
fell
all my bones broken
I remain alive
for the vultures
and rodents
my scavenged body lies
in dust and covered
by wind
you stare down
with no tears
no emotion
just those abyss eyes
where did I go?
