"Aboakyer Festival" Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

"Aboakyer Festival"

Rating: 4.0

A talent is worth more than 75 Pounds of Pure Gold!

First time around with your works to the world;

It could be once or twice! But, let me also live.

Life and love,

Nature and Culture! !

"Aboakyer Festival",

To the People of Winneba,

In the Central Region of Ghana.

Muse,

Tradition! !

In the name of a culture;

With the "Asafo Rituals".

Ethnic Groups,

To parade the "Asafo Gods"! !

This Cultural Interlude.

Visitors and Witnesses!
Many things to see at this Festival;

To the Winneba people,
Culture and Tradition;

The muse of a tribe,
With Ethnic Groups.
