Aage daru yaa parivaar,
Sochiyei jaraa
Kuccha karnei she pahalei,
Kya dosta yaa parivaar,
Dosta dosta nai raha jaayega
Jab aapke paas kuccha nahi hoga
Wei bhi nahi raha jaayengei,
Fir dosta kaun kiskaa,
Kaun kisaka hai
Esa jamanei mei,
Usa jamanei bhi koi nahi thaa?
Eka cheez hee mai jaanata hun
Dost koi kisi kaa nahi hota hai
Basa samay ke liyei.

Translation

Before you first your family or wine
Think you
Before doing something,
Is the family or the friend,
The friend will not remain a friend
And when nothing gets along with
They too will desert and dump you,
Again who is your friend and with whose bonhomie,
Again who is whose friend,
Who is whose
In this age
And was who in which age?
Only one thing that I know is this
Nobody is nobody's friend
Just for a specific time.
