A World Without Mother-Tongue

Rating: 5.0

My mother talks in Kosli,
I talk with my wife in Kosli,

The language of my family
My village - Kosli.

We all talk in schools,
Colleges, offices, courts-
Through Kosli.

Disgrace! Kosli is not
Our state language.
Disgrace! Kosli is not
In the 8th Sch of Indian Constitution.

And yet, we call
Ourselvesas per the preamble
Sovereign and supreme.
