A Word Spoken Poem by Terri Read

A Word Spoken

I was living my life, but something was missing
A bond that very few will ever find and search for a lifetime.
Then a word is spoken, unto your surprise we share so much in common
A warm heart, a kind smile, I've waited awhile
We open our hearts and our friendship blossoms
Sharing our secrets, laughter and tears, always knowing
Deep down inside you'll always be here
Reassurance and comfort you give, I'll always remember
Can't imagine a day without you near
Your strength and beauty will always shine through
Believe in yourself and reach for the stars and your dreams will come true
I'll treasure our memories and new ones to come
With a tear drop that falls, I'll miss you so much
I'll make a promise to never say good bye
Your friendship I'll keep close to my heart
Bestfreinds forever and ever again
