not in a pit or on a pedastal
not in the back of a car
as a princess would ride
i belong
next to you
when you face the dawn
not behind you
not in front
for how can we both see the light
through the thickness of the other’s
body?
i belong
by your side
not below you
not above
i am not of you
nor you of me
it’s simple
duality
