how can i speak
while
in the face of

absolute beauty

when it smiles and warms me
like it’s been waiting
within me
to come to life

i just open my eyes

to see the truth
[that hope and love are
tangible]
and life is worthy of praising
because God made
something unearthly
this
absolute beauty

that holds me secretly
and keeps me from slipping
into that dark water

you make me
feel so real and it’s just ok
you take my breath away
