you live together for 35 years already
sharing the same house, same bed, same food,
same memories, same visions
somehow this is the best comfort zone handed in marriage
and you like it, though there are of course, highs and lows
but somehow you both manage to keep things intact and keep feelings within the level of average understanding
compromises here and there, and settling happily in bed retelling stories and recapping events at the end of the day
at some point words become useless, there came a time when even without words you understand each other, needs and wants, necessities and luxuries, in the wink of an eye
the marital rules become alive, and you do what is expected of you, and she does what makes you stay and never leave again.
