A Whistle Through My Heart Poem by Patti Masterman

A Whistle Through My Heart

Rating: 5.0

A whistle through my heart
Another dawn comes calling
The rosy clouds all shimmer
Outside my room.

The morning star's on fire
Upon the sunlight, threading
The sunbeams opal glimmer
Beside the moon.

As always, you're the place
My soul's forever stalling;
Because my light grows dimmer
Until your rainbow blooms.
