A Warm Breeze Poem by Patricia Wiley

A Warm Breeze

As I take in the sun,
Warm and piercing on my skin,
I feel the breeze and feel as if
I could be carried away
But instead I listen
To the wind the birds the trees
And I can see their all in harmony.
They remind me of you all so sweet,
Caring and loving with every out reach.
You say the opposite
When I know it’s not true.
There was a pain
But now it’s gone away
You healed my heart to love ever more
But that loves for you
And it will never go away.
You have a broken heart,
From all the grief and pain
I understand what you mean
I know the same.
You have your ways and I have mine
You have things you like to do but so do I
Yours don’t bother me and you wonder why
It’s because it’s who you are and that’s what I love.
Yes you may get carried away but don’t we all?
You’ve filled my life and made it true
That I’m yours forever and it will never be rue.
You’re my morning glory
And what I’ll always look forward to
A Heart beat that’s made of two....
