A True Self Is Golden. Poem by PARTHA SARATHI PAUL

A True Self Is Golden.

a true self is golden
what if not as shiny as a glitzy photo?
does a diamond without its true property
without solid density only with a sparkle
dazzle the wise eyes of a senior jeweler?
a true heart must radiate a pleasant warmth
through the open arms and welcome smile
and times tell better ever as a stoic jury.
