'Fusione'

Rimanemmo là,
Ad un metro di distanza,
Nel silenzio della sala.
Nient'altro importava, assolutamente nulla.
In silenzio, rimanemmo. E poi,
Improvvisamente, non so quando,
La mia anima mi abbandonò di colpo
E penetrò direttamente nel tuo cuore.

'Fusion' - Poem by Sandra Feldman

There we stood,
Three feet apart,
In the silence of the hall.
Nothing mattered, not at all,
Not a word was said, and then,
Suddenly, I know not when,
My Soul left me, with a start,
And went straight into your Heart

Perfect translation! I've read the original, then your comment - translation is even more tender and fusional with these mm and o of the past tense in italian! may be because OM - means the last and greatest Fusion!

grazie Liza.. non sono in molti - su P.H.- a conoscere la mia lingua nativa, l'Italiano.. quindi il tuo generoso commento è ancora più prezioso! Thank you so much
