A Transfiguration Poem by Etienne Charilaou

A Transfiguration

A better-than-pearls bedazzling,
by virtue of the sun,
nova and aglow,
this lowly inflorescence
becomes the best,
and briefly outshines the rest.

O happy human bright
translucent to the Light.
