A Thread Of Hope Poem by Kathlene Ann

A Thread Of Hope

Rating: 5.0

If I can discern no point in living,
Why am I afraid of death?
Why do I fear pain and sorrow
And seek acceptance?
I have searched for joy all my life,
However fleeting the feeling.
I am ruled by a desire for everlasting peace,
But I remain on this earth,
Bound by a strand of light,
Of hope that shines through the darkness.
I am bound by you.
I am bound to you,
By love.

Kathlene, I think you write wonderfully and this poem expresses the fine thread of hope that we all have. I hope that all your dreams and hopes come true. Your friend in poetry, Lynn.

I think we are all bound by hope in different ways.
