A Tale Of Sorrow Poem by Rayan AbdulBaki

A Tale Of Sorrow

Rating: 5.0

Let my tale express- my expressionless sorrow
Let my tears flounder - on your heart of hollow
Let my eyes witness - your dying halo
Before I die - and part for the morrow
Let my poetry inform, bless and spare
Keep this in mind - my child and heir
Forgive my silence - for I was in pain
Drowning- under misery and vain
Witness my prayers - bid them well
Look upon my face - and hold my hands
Let me rest - from another painful tomorrow
For I’ve recited- my tale of sorrow
