A Symphony Of Citizen Society Instruments Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Symphony Of Citizen Society Instruments

have you heard the one who helps nobody
questions the motives of those who serve
devote their lives to helping poor everybody
I wonder how much the reasons for helping
matter when your dying starving in desperate
urgent need aid shelter food medical attention
will motivation effect quantity quality of care
or do professional skills resources matter?

motivation will effect quantity quality of help
given large pockets organizations effect scale
help harmony in society is like sound music
small missed notes drowned in an orchestra
will not noticeably effect preparation practice
will as a whole by most unmusical be unheard

a symphony will practice to achieve perfection
a classical composer plans role of instruments
symphonia is an agreement or concord of sound
disaster relief aid shelter food medical attention
must also employ an agreement of resource uses
discount disruptive attitudes a less caring soul

may harbour aid freely given is a blessing
disruptive souls do not seek career healing
disruptive souls dysfunctional cause problems
beautiful caring souls nurture heal problems
so in symphony of citizen society instruments
will you be part of solution or cause problems
