A Sweet Serenade Poem by Joyce Hemsley

A Sweet Serenade

Forty words:

Such an innocent maiden,

So tender-hearted is she.

Within the human kindness zone

She met a romeo of her own.

Thoughts of spinsterhood far behind,

Diamond rings always in mind.

The sweetest relationship has grown

A moonlight serenata overtone.
