A Sweet Proposal Poem by Nishi Kumari

A Sweet Proposal

When the sky feels lonely and lost
The stars chat with him to relieve his
restlessness
I wish to be those stars when you would
feel lost
When the sun is at its peak and its
blazing rays haunts the travelers
The trees provide the peaceful shade
like a mother's veil
I wish to be those trees when you
suffer for shade
When the earth becomes barren and
dry
The pearls of rain quenches its thirst
and brings the greenery back
I wish to be those crystals of joy
if you ever go through such a
shortcoming
When the night is the darkest and
all the doors to the light seems to
be locked
A small candle is enough to break the
dismal silence
I wish to be that ray of hope in times
where your eyes miss the light
When a storm comes and drives off
everything diminishing the beauty
to pebbles and stones
There still remains an untouched
corner which neither the storm nor
any calamity could ever destroy
I wish to be that strength in your
life who always keeps you strong
even at the weakest moments of
your journey
When the autumn arrives and all
the flowers and leaves shed off
There still remains a misty fragrance
which never gets lost even after they
die
I wish to be that fragrance in your
life which would always stay close to
you even when I pass away
Whenever the sun rises in the morrow
It welcomes a new day with a new
beginning
I wish to be that sunshine who would
sprout up a bright smile on
your face everyday
Making you forget all the past sorrows
and anxieties
I wish to be the happiness you desire
I wish to be the hues you imagine
I wish to be the sunset you can peacefully
watch
I wish to be the mirror in which you look
the best
I wish to be with you forever in all your ways
I wish to be with you forever in all your days...
