A Story Of Anger Poem by Azure Critic

A Story Of Anger

Rating: 5.0

I get angry at the world
because people do not love you as I wish them to.
A loves you;
A gender discriminator, he prefers your brother.
B loves you;
Less dignified, he chooses your friend.
C loves you;
A social climber, he puts fame and money higher.
D loves you;
She loves herself more - she is blindly selfish.

*
Should I avoid using negative words to talk about the world?
I would become submissive,
even sell my right to get angry
if that could be exchanged for a little peace
to save for you.

*
I may sometimes mean the world to you,
but most of the time I cannot.
Let me make the world a better place!
Kinder hearts would be there for you.
But it really takes time-
Life is passing by.

*
Life is passing by-
We are holding each other in an eternal present,
But a life without future
is troubled.

*
I am teaching myself to live simply,
repressing the quest for love.
I am teaching myself not to get angry
trying to save peace for you.
