A Star's Reach Poem by Pedro Cescon

What is the meaning of a star?
Mean, what it feels like to you?
And how important stars are?
How far they can come through?

Should I assume that star's reach...
Can differ for each life form?
That it can be no more than bleach,
Or can be inspiration's born?

And if so what does that mean?
That stars are unexplainable?
Or that stars refrain from being...
An existence of one label?

Well, I guess it is a start,
To try to have stars translated,
And perhaps draw a chart,
With there a star's reach stated,

...

But coming to think of it,
Heard it may be too far away,
Thousand billion light-years split
Between star's reach and my day,
Too much for me to knit,
Stars to its convey,

Hopeless it became, no?
It is too far for me, quite
And to it I cannot go,
Have no reach to get right,
So sad, to stars I cannot know
What's the meaning of its light,
And incapable I am so,
For about it cannot write...

...

Oh, but hang and wait...
What did I just bestow?
Didn't I wrote quite straight?
About the ways of a star's flow?
And I gave it quite the trait,
(Even far away, although)
Of being here no late,
After a thought grow,

Yes, I guess I can now see,
About the reach of a star,
Star is pretty close to me,
It is not really that afar,

For when I write it down,
It is on the tip of my pen,
And when I make it known,
It is on the inside of my brain
And when at night it has shown,
It is on my eyesights again,
And when my love for it has grown,
Stars are what my heart contain,

I guess that that turns to be true,
About what star's reach means to me
It is near my heart, thought and view
And mirrored in lakes, clouds and sea,
And it can be pretty far too,
If I just want it to be,
Or can be so close its debut,
Simply by a imagination agree,

But that is only my clue,
What makes me want to see:
How far stars can be...
