You've probably heard a thousand love songs
And I know that you always find them sweet
Well I'm kind of bummed that I can't sing
But here's something I wrote for you to read

Here's one for the lady who is my love song
The soundtrack that plays on my mornings
When I open my eyes and think of you first
It plays and I feel all the joy that it brings

And I think of you as the light that shines
Like the Sun that rises to end the night
Though to a man like me who is no romantic
You're like Juliet to a Romeo, Bonnie to a Clyde

And of all the love songs that you've heard
Which makes all the ladies feel the way you do
This one right here which I can't sing
Is a love song written specifically about you
