I'm sitting here writing a song for you that eventually brought me to tears
and yet as it started as a song I kept moving along with a sad melody in my heart. It tore me apart and that is how it started. It was a song for you that brought me to tears. I even daydreamed about how it would be but it turned to a nightmare of dispare. The sweet sad melody I keep hearing. It has a meaning; but what does it mean? It's telling me to write a sad song for you. The same one that brought me to tears. The same one who went far beyond my fears. The one that caused my heart so much pain over the last few years. The same sad sweet melody that is killing me softly and softly killing me. Do you hear me? Calling out for help; reaching out for a hand; no because you don't understand my pain. Life is not a game, very serious and you darling need to understand. That this is a song that brought me to tears.
