A Snowy Demise Poem by Ciara Mitchell

A Snowy Demise

Today is my last day on this earth. And to those who have heard of me will soon be hurt.
Today an old woman gave me a poison but tasty treat
To where I bit into it and met my defeat.
I will leave tears to those who have heard of me
Including the seven little men that took great care of me
Yes I took care of them as well as they did for me
And now the only thing they will remember is my niceness and true beauty.

This whole thing started over a beauty contest
To where my step mom the Queen always had to be the best
But once she found out that she was no longer cool
She sent in a guard to seal my doom.
But the guard let me go and
As I ran into the dark I was shaken, scared and torn apart.
And as I ran I saw a light to where I noticed I was no longer I fright.

And as I said before I found the seven little men’s house.
And when I went inside it was quiet, quiet as a mouse.
But the men eventually found me and at first treated they treated me like a profound other.
But then I started acting as if I there was their second mother.

And now I lay here lifeless, peaceful and still
All because my step- mother wanted me killed
And before her death she got her wish at last, as
I lie here above ground in a coffin made of glass.
And as the seven men started to weep I think I saw someone about to creep.
A young boy that was charming and handsome as can be.
He looked as if he had seen me before at least that’s what it seems.

As he walked toward me he wept a tear
Because he saw the tragedy that was near.
He took the glass of my lifeless body
And then he stared at me so shockingly.
Then he leaned in and left a kiss upon my lips.
To where I have never felt anything like this.
And when I awoken it was to my surprise
I was no longer in a snowy Demise.
